Hey, I’m Mason!

I am now finishing a Master’s degree in Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics, having previously graduated in May 2020 from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Studies.

Some of my previous university projects include capital concentration in Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century, populism and economic inequality in Turkey, the optimization of pay-what-you-want pricing models, and the relationship between increasing industrial concentration and inequality in the United States.

For my personal projects, I have created an R package, sciteR, to gather journal-level citation data from scite, a Shiny web app to track the spread of COVID-19, and a simple R script to quickly visualize cryptocurrency price trends.

Awarded to 1 US resident for academic and professional projects in line with the Toulouse School of Economics' training objectives.
Part of the International Attractiveness School Program, this scholarship will allow a student to be financially supported in his/her training at one of the leading schools of economics in continental Europe. The objective of this scholarship is also to continue to strengthen and establish new links between TSE and the United States.
